Delete Your VoxVPN Account

You can request deletion of your VoxVPN account and associated data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, what gets deleted, what is retained, and how long it takes.

How to Request Account Deletion

    Sign in to your account

    Log in to the VoxVPN app or website at voxvpn.net using the email address associated with your account.

    Open the Delete Account page

    Navigate to voxvpn.net/delete in your browser, or go to Settings → Delete Account in the VoxVPN Android app.

    Confirm deletion

    Review what will be deleted, then type DELETE to confirm. Your account and data are permanently removed within 24 hours.

Data That Will Be Deleted

Account credentials

Your email, password, and login session

Linked devices

All registered device fingerprints and VPN profiles

Subscription records

Your plan, billing history, and renewal dates

VPN configurations

OpenVPN/WireGuard keys and server configs

Support tickets

All open and resolved support conversations

Connection logs

Session history and usage statistics

Data That May Be Retained

Billing & payment records

Transaction records from Stripe, Hubtel, or other payment processors are retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations and tax law. VoxVPN does not store full card numbers — these remain with the payment processor.

Fraud & abuse prevention logs

Anonymized security logs (IP addresses, device identifiers) may be retained for up to 90 days after deletion to protect against fraud, chargebacks, and abuse, in accordance with our legitimate business interest.

Legal compliance records

If we are legally obligated to retain specific data (e.g., due to an active legal hold or regulatory request), that data will be kept only for the duration required by law and then permanently deleted.

If you have an active paid subscription, it will be cancelled immediately upon deletion. Refunds for partial billing periods are handled per ourRefund Policy.
